I made an online  questionnaire (using google forms) that I gave out to my fellow classmates and a few teachers to get all age group perspectives

Secondary hand data 

I started by googling and looking at online magazines of motorsport and choosing which ones inspired me the most , and looking at the different colours and contrast hand displays of how a motocross magazine is made so I could use it as a reference to make mine.

I googled and researched about historical data and statistics related to motocross and motorsport, such as race results, championship standings, and rider profiles in kenya so I could include it in my magazine 

I  higlitighted my main topic for the magazine which was focusing on motocross specifically and went to find respesentation which was women empowerment in motorsports internationally and compared to how it is in kenya. 

Target audience

Questions that I asked myself that helped me come up with an idea of what to include and what target audience I was targeting to help me come outwith a questionnaire : 

 Is there a motocross magazine in Nairobi ?

 This would be one of the first ones focusing on east Africa (women empowerment on motorcars in kenya)

Would a motorcars magazine sell well in the Kenya market?

I think it would , as much as its not a very famous sport , there is still a big east Africa motocross community and races happen in Kenya 

What would be different in my magazine from other motorcars magazine?

I want it to focus on women's empowerment and how motocross works in Kenya as many magazines  focus on other countries but there is none done in Kenya 

Age group for magazine?

15- 50 + but mostly targeted for adult to read as content swell as teenagers who are interested in the sport 

Gender for magazine?

unisex (women and men)
